Seaside Startup Summit camp

Investors

Meet your next portfolio company.

SSS brings angels and VC funds into an intimate seaside camp with screened, deal-ready startups — for 7 days of intensive, face-to-face deal-making.

Why Invest

Five reasons investors keep coming back.

Since 2016, SSS has fostered intensive deal-making in an informal setting — bringing angels, VC funds and founders together where human relationships, not pitch decks, close the deal.

Curated deal flow

Every team at the camp has cleared a screening process — only 15–20% of applicants are accepted. You meet startups that have already passed a threshold, not an open inbox.

A genuinely global room

Founders, mentors and investors from more than 60 countries share the same tents, campfires and Startup Battles for seven immersive days. Connections here are built, not exchanged.

Who invests

Two kinds of capital. One camp.

The summit attracts two types of investors — and there is more than one way to get in the room with the startups.

Type 01

Angel Investors

Smart money, shared experience.

Successful entrepreneurs who invest not only their capital but also their expertise. Angels bring both financial and educational value to early-stage teams, mentoring founders while backing them.

Type 02

Venture Capital Funds

Institutional capital and reach.

Companies — backed by well-off investors, investment banks and other financial institutions — that finance startups with growth potential. VCs may also contribute technical or managerial expertise beyond a monetary ticket.

Three ways to get involved

01

By invitation

Angels and VCs invited directly by the hosting organization to join deal-making at the camp.

02

Indirect involvement

Speakers, mentors and other ecosystem players who invest while contributing to the programme.

03

Investor Pass

Buy an Investor Pass for full access to the startups, Startup Battles and the wider network.

How it works · 04 stations

From first invitation to signed term sheet.

Investing at SSS is a four-station journey — from reserving your seat to closing deals around the campfire.
  1. Station 01 / 04

    Reserve your seat

Request an invitation or secure an Investor Pass. Tell us your thesis, ticket size and the industries you want to see at the camp.

  2. Station 02 / 04

    Get matched to the tracks

We map your focus to the relevant Starter and Booster educational tracks so the teams you meet fit your mandate from day one.

  3. Station 03 / 04

    Watch the Startup Battles

Sit on or beside an independent jury as finalists compete for a $1,500–$10,000 prize fund — the clearest signal of who is ready to scale.

  4. Station 04 / 04

    Close at the campfire

Seven days of tents, kitchens and campfires turn introductions into trust. Deal-making happens on-site, off-site and well after the summit ends.

Success story

SuperAnnotate

From a Sevan Startup Summit win to a global AI leader.

In 2018, brothers Tigran and Vahan Petrosyan brought an early idea for AI data annotation to the summit — and won first place. The win brought Granatus Ventures’ first investment. The founders left their PhD programs, moved back to Yerevan, and built the company, soon joining Berkeley SkyDeck and relocating their HQ to Silicon Valley.

“From Start through Struggle to Success” — proven.
